Comics' original "Man of Steel" appeared almost two years after Superman. Zip Comics #1 featured the origin of Scarlet Avenger & Steel Sterling (aka "Man of Steel"). The beginning of Mr. Satan and Captain Valor are included in this issue. Features brilliant cover art by Charles Brio. MLJ's are very difficult to find in high-grade, making this book, in near pristine shape with outstanding cover gloss and page quality, a rare gem. Graded VF/NM 9.0 by CGC with off-white pages. CGC had only graded one copy higher than this one as of this writing.
