The 2017 American League MVP and major league batting champion Jose Altuve wore this jersey on October 5th, 2017 in Game 1 of the ALDS against the Boston Red Sox. Altuve put on an unprecedented show of power hitting three home runs en route to an 8-2 victory over the Red Sox. It was just the 10th time a player hit three homers in a postseason game. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag size “40” with MLB hologram “JB906270” and Fanatics hologram “AA0020133”. Across the chest reads “ASTROS”. The player number “27” appears below and on the back and across the back is the player name “ALTUVE”. All numbering and lettering is done in blue on orange tackle twill. On the right sleeve is the “POSTSEASON 2017” patch. On the upper left chest is the “Houston Strong” patch. Altuve signed the back of the jersey inside the “2” in silver marker with the added inscriptions “3 HR 10/5/17 ALDS GM 1” and “2017 AL MVP / WS CHAMPS” and in our opinion rates a 9. The jersey is unwashed and has dirt staining. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
