Rare vintage lemon peel baseball, the type of ball that was used to play baseball in the 1850s and 1860s. At that time, players were allowed to throw the ball at a runner to tag him out. Dark brown with some loose stitching, much smaller than the one that is used today at approximately 8" circumference. A beautiful example!
