Louisville Slugger manufactured S318 model bat that measures 34 inches and weighs 31.8 ounces. Stamped into the knob is the date of manufacture and length and weight. The model number as well as the length and weight are written on the knob. The bat shows outstanding use with slight crack on the top barrel, many ball marks, bat rack streaks and cleat impressions. There is a coating of pine tar on the lower handle and the upper handle has been taped to enhance the grip. The player number “13” is handwritten on the top barrel. Castro signed the bat in black marker with the added inscription “Game Used 2012” and in our opinion rates a strong 8. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA Pre-Certification LOA and an ALOA from JSA.
