The current captain of the New York Islanders was the No. 1 overall selection in the 2009 NHL Draft. On the left inseam is a “Reebok” materials tag with washing instructions. On the inside of the rear left tail is a tag that reads, “New York Islanders Gameworn Jersey Program 333151 Scott Boggs - Head Equipment Manager”. Fight strap included. On the inside below the rear collar is a size “56” tag that reads, “MADE IN CANADA”. On the v-neck is the official “NHL” shield logo embroidered. On the left chest is an “A” for being an assistant captain. Across the back reads the player name, “TAVARES” on a blue mesh nameplate and the player number “91” appears on both sleeve and on the back. All numbering and lettering are done in white on orange tackle twill. Above the player name reads, “Reebok” in white stitching. On the front of the jersey is a large “NY ISLANDERS” team logo disc patch done in orange and white tackle twill and stitching. Above the player number on the right sleeve is an embroidered patch that reads, “CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF ISLANDERS HOCKEY - NY ISLANDERS - 1974 40 2012”. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a New York Islanders LOA.
