Future Football Hall of Fame inductee, Brett Favre was one of football’s most fearless and courageous throwers. Favre won one Super Bowl and was a three-time AP NFL MVP. He was voted to the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team and at the time of his retirement he held numerous NFL records, including: most career passing yards, most career pass completions, most career pass attempts, most consecutive starts by a player, most career victories as a starting quarterback and more. Favre is also second on the all-time touchdowns list. On December 30, 2007, Brett Favre took the field one last time in front of a home Lambeau crowd of over 70,000 as they faced off against the Detroit Lions. Favre would complete 9 of 11 passes for 99 yards and two touchdowns (#441 & #442 of his career) in the first half before Head Coach Mike McCarthy pulled his starters to save them for postseason action. The Packers would go on to crush the Lions by a score of 34-13. The jersey is sans manufacturing tagging due to a custom elastic tail. Below the inner rear collar is a white strip tag reading “07-52”. On the v-neck is the official “NFL” logo embroidered in red, white, blue and silver. On the left chest is the “1957-2007 50 Years LAMBEAU FIELD” patch embroidered in green, gold, and white. Across the front, on back and on each sleeve is the player number “4”. Across the back is the player name “FAVRE” on a dark green nameplate. All lettering and numbering is done in the same white tackle twill. On each sleeve is the Reebok logo embroidered in green and white. Favre has signed the “4” on the back of the jersey with the added inscriptions “4” and “Game Used 12/30/07 - Detroit 13 Pack 34”, in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA, an LOA from Brett Favre and an LOA from noted Packer authority Guy Hankel stating that this jersey was worn in the first half. Further accompanied by a photo of Favre holding the jersey and a DVD of the game.
