Steve Young was named the MVP of the NFL in 1992 and 1994, the MVP of Super Bowl XXIX and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005, the first left-handed quarterback to be so honored. In 1994, Young completed 70.3% of his passes, threw for 35 touchdowns and 3,969 yards. Young wore this jersey on October 9th, 1994 against the Detroit Lions in a 27-21 victory. Young completed 19 of 25 passes and a touchdown in the victory. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions and an attached flag tag reading the size “44”. On the upper left chest is the “NFL 75” anniversary patch. On the front and back is the player number “8” in red on black tackle twill. Across the back on a white nameplate is the player name “YOUNG” in red tackle twill. On both sleeves is a Wilson logo embroidered in red. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match and a 49ers LOA.This is perhaps the best example known of Steve Young.
