Gaylord Perry was the first pitcher to win a Cy Young Award in both the American and National Leagues, recording 314 wins over his 22 year career. This pairing of hat and glove was used by him during the late 1960s. The hat has the Giants "SF" logo embroidered on the front and the player number "36" on the underside of the brim in black marker. The "KM Pro Cap" logo appears on the leather sweatband next to the size "7 1/8." Also present is the "Tim McAuliffe" tag. The glove was manufactured by Wilson and is a model "A2000." The player number "36" is written at the base of the thumb in vintage black ink and Perry has signed the glove twice, both on the inside and outside of the pinky in marker rating a 6-7. The autographs come with a letter from PSA/DNA. Both pieces show nice use.
