HOFer Gary Carter's skill and veteran knowledge helped the New York Mets win the World Series in 1986. On the left tail is the "Goodman & Sons" manufacturer's label with jersey size "44." On the right sleeve is the "Mets 25th Anniversary" patch. Across the front of the jersey in script-style lettering is the team name "Mets." On the back is a gray nameplate with the name "Carter." The number "8" appears on the front left breast and the back of the jersey. All letters and numbers are done in blue on orange tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. There is an autograph on the front of the jersey which comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
