Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s long list of NBA accomplishments includes many records, such as being tied for the most MVP awards (6), being named to 19 All-Star teams and being the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. The six-time NBA champion was named NBA Finals MVP twice, is on the NBA’s Greatest 50 Players of All-Time Team and patented an unguardable “skyhook” that made him as lethal as any player in the game’s history. Abdul-Jabbar was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1995. On the inside of the button path is a “Sand-Knit” size “44” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is a “Sand-Knit” distributor's tag that reads, “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the LOS ANGELES LAKERS”. There is also a strip tag with “4”LB” adjacent to a player number “33” swatch and an “86” year swatch. There is also a blank white strip tag. On the right inseam is a “100% NYLON” tag with washing instructions. On the right chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered and on the left chest is a “LAKERS” logo patch embroidered in purple, orange and black stitching on white felt. Below this patch, Abdul-Jabbar signed the warm-up jacket in black pen and in our opinion, rates an 8 overall. Across the back reads the player name “ABDUL JABBAR” in purple on white tackle twill sewn directly onto the yellow warm-up jacket. On the inside of the rear waistline of the pants is an “86” year swatch adjacent to a blank white strip tag. Then there is a “Sand-Knit” size “34” manufacturer’s tag next to a “Sand-Knit” distributor’s tag that reads, “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the LOS ANGELES LAKERS”. There is a strip tag that has “2”HR” on it, a “41” swatch and another strip tag with “1-2”IN” all adjacent to each other. On the seam is a tag that reads, “100% NYLON” with washing instructions. Near the right hip is the official “NBA” logo embroidered and on the left thigh area is the player number “33” in purple tackle twill sewn directly onto the yellow pants. Below the player number, Abdul-Jabbar signed in black pen and in our opinion, rates an 8 overall. This warm-up jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
