Elgin Baylor’s Hall of Fame career started quickly, earning the NBA’s Rookie of the Year Award in 1959. Baylor was named to 10 All-NBA First-Teams, was named to the NBA 50th Anniversary All-Time Team and his No. 22 is retired by the Los Angeles franchise. Baylor was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1977. Inside on the button path is a “Tiernan” manufacturer’s tag and inside on the waistline is a white tackle twill strip tag with the player name “Baylor” embroidered in blue stitching. On each side of the shorts reads “LAKERS” in white tackle twill. Original belt is intact. These shorts are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, show appropriate use.
