Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005, Steve Young is a three-time Super Bowl champion, a Super Bowl MVP, a two-time regular season MVP and holds the record for earning six passing titles. Young’s No. 8 is retired by the San Francisco 49ers franchise. On the front left tail is a “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached below is a size “44” flag tag. Adjacent is a swatch with the year “95” embroidered on it in red stitching. The player number “8” appears on the front, on the back and on each sleeve. Across the back reads the player name “YOUNG” on a red nameplate. All numbering and lettering are done in the same white tackle twill. Above the player number on each sleeve is a white Wilson logo embroidered. Young signed the back player number in black pen and in our opinion, rates an 8 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
