John Smoltz was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015 on the first ballot. Smoltz won a World Series in 1995 and was the the National League Cy Young Award winner in 1996. Smoltz led the NL in wins and strikeouts twice in addition to leading the NL in saves on season. His No. 29 is retired by the Atlanta Braves franchise. On the front left tail is a “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with a size “50” flag tag attached below. On the left inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “Braves” with the team’s Tomahawk logo below and on the back is the player number “29”. These are done in navy blue on white tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name “SMOLTZ” in white tackle twill on a red nameplate. Above the player name is the official “MLB” logo embroidered. On the left sleeve is a Majestic logo embroidered. Smoltz signed on the player number “2” in silver pen and in our opinion, rates a 7 overall. There is staining on the right sleeve and front and rear tails. This jersey is sourced directly from Julio Franco. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
