Extremely rare approximately 3" lock of Marilyn Monroe's hair from her NYC hairdresser Kenneth Battelle. Presented to one of his best clients, several strands of Monroe's hair have been placed in a small 1" x 1-1/2" metal frame enclosed in glass, inside a small green box that is attached to a 2-1/2" x 3" green box with front label that reads, "Kenneth, Hairdresser, Marilyn Monroe. The box is numbered "010." Inside the box is a small 1" x 1-1/2" translucent image of Monroe attached to a small piece of glass framed in metal, giving it the appearance of a glass negative. A rare opportunity to acquire such a renowned "piece" of the most iconic starlet of the twentieth century.
