Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal is arguably the single most dominant player in the game today. Shaq is listed at 7'1" 340lbs, making standing next to him like being under an old oak tree. As big and strong has he is, he is extremely mobile and one of the most skilled centers in the game. His combination of size, brute strength, and skill make him an unstoppable force on the hardwood. In 1996 Shaq was selected as one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history. He was the 1992-93 Rookie of the Year. In his twelve NBA seasons, he is a nine-time All-Star as well as a two-time NBA scoring champion. He led the league in field goal percentage five times. He has a career average of 27.1 points per game, and 12.1 rebounds per game. During his days at LSU, Shaquille was the 1991-92 College basketball Player of the Year, an All-American, SEC athlete of the year, and is the holder of many more LSU records. On the front left tail of the jersey is the "RUSSELL ATHLETIC" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions, and jersey size "48" on it. Attached is a material tag, and a tag reading "2" Extra Body Length." Across the front of the jersey is "LSU" screened on in yellow on white. Below that and on the back is the player number "33" screened on in yellow and white. Above the player number on the back is "O'Neal" screened on in yellow. The jersey shows light game-use, and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The lot comes with a 1991-92 LSU program. The jersey comes with pristine provenance with a detailed LOA from Coach Dale Brown, and an additional LOA from John G. McNamara, who was LSU's manager during Shaq's college career. Regarding the jersey he states, "This is the only game worn, purple, L.S.U., Shaquille O'Neal jersey that exists."
