• Initial Bidding closes at 9:00 PM EST on Sunday, June 1, 2025.
• You must place at least one bid on a lot before this time to continue bidding on it in Extended Bidding.
• You will only be allowed to continue bidding on lots that you have placed bids on before the cutoff.
• If you’re the only bidder on a lot by 9:00 PM, you win that item.
• GFA may issue a “Fair Warning” notice, but this is not guaranteed—please don’t wait to bid.
• Extended Bidding starts after 9:00 PM EST on June 1.
• Only bidders who placed a bid before 9:00 PM on a lot can continue bidding on it.
• The auction will stay open as long as any lot receives a bid within each 30-minute window.
• Once no bids are placed on any lot for 30 minutes, the auction will close without warning.
• If the auction continues past 11:00 PM EST we will enter Lot-by-Lot Closing procedures
• If a lot’s timer runs out, it closes immediately.
• Each lot will have its own 30-minute countdown clock.
• A bid will reset the clock for that lot.
• GFA recommends placing maximum bids early to avoid missing out.
• Bidders need to log in and watch their account page to see the status of the lots they are bidding on during extended bidding.
• If you are the current high bidder on a lot and you change your max (ceiling) bid after 11:00 PM EST, this will not extend the bidding time; only a bid placed by another bidder or a higher “straight bid” placed by the current high bidder will reset the ending time on that lot.
• Items with no bids by 9:00 PM remain open, but can only be bid on by phone or email during extended bidding.
• GFA reserves the right to extend or modify the auction closing in the event of technical issues or other disruptions.
• Upgrade to Premier Bidder status and check your credit limit.
