Joe Carter hit a walk-off home run against pitcher Mitch Williams to win the 1993 World Series. Rawlings manufactured ONL White baseball signed by both Williams and Carter. Williams signed on the sweet spot in black ink and in our opinion the signature rates a 7. Carter signed on a side panel in blue ink and in our opinion the signature rates a 7.5. Handwritten beneath Carter’s signature is “93 WS HR”. Moderate toning and spotting is seen throughout that only minimally affects the signatures. On May 7, 1957, Herb Score threw a fastball to the Yankees' Gil McDougald. McDougald's shot slammed back at Score in what is remembered as one of baseball's most notorious injuries. Rawlings manufactured OAL Brown baseball signed by both Score and McDougald. Both signed on the sweet spot in blue ink and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined 8. Minor toning is seen on the baseball. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
