Figural football trophy c.1940-50s. Extremely high quality silver plated trophy of uniformed player running with ball presented by the Touchdown Club of Washington, D.C. as the "Timmie" Award. Player is mounted atop large wooden painted base with an applied ball shaped name placard on front. Retains original Balfour label on bottom of base, recipient's name plaque is missing from the front. These trophies were issued to famous athletes and are of the finest quality, 16" tall and EX-NM.
