Fans of college football history will need little more than the picture of a Houndstooth hat to know that it came from Alabama's Paul "Bear" Bryant who is widely considered to be the greatest coach of all time. Bryant won 14 SEC titles and six National Championships in his quarter-century on the Crimson Tide sideline. The first hat is black and white checkered size “7 3/8“ that shows wear with "The Original Paul Bear Bryant" logo in the center and gold replica signature on the sweatband. The other hat is blue, white and navy blue checkered size “7 1-4” with a “Stetson” logo in the center. Originally gifted to a sideline photographer, this lot is accompanied by an LOA from that photographer. These hats are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and show wear.
