This baseball commemorates Dave Eiland as the only pitcher to allow a home run to the first batter he faced in MLB and then to hit a home run in his first MLB at bat. Rawlings manufactured OAL Brown baseball signed by Hall of Famer Paul Molitor with the added inscription "8-3-88". Dave Eiland signed on the sweet spot and Bob Ojeda signed on a side panel with the added inscription “4-10-92” and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined 8.5. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
