Cleat impressions visible on the left, right and back barrel. There is a donut line which shows evidence of a weighted bat sleeve. The handle has been taped approx. seven inches in a spiral then criss-cross pattern to enhance the grip and there is a light coat of Mota Stick on the lower handle and a heavy coat of pine tar on the upper handle. The mark visible on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat. This is a mandatory marking, per MLB, for all maple bats since January 2009.
