This lot of twelve bats is quite unique. We were told by our consignor that eight of these bats, albeit not Michael Jordan models, were used by Jordan in various games and batting practice sessions to get a feel for them and try bats other than his own. Of the eight, five are Robin Ventura S329 LVS model bats, all showing nice game-use with ball and hit marks. Jordan’s number “45” is written on the knob end of two bats in silver marker. The remaining three are a Dan Pasqua P72 LVS and a Lance Johnson O69 LVS, both showing nice use and a Curtis Goodwin C271 LVS which is a game bat showing only bat rack streaks. Also included in this lot are four Michael Jordan model LVS bats. Two are black, a C271 game bat showing only bat rack streaks and a R219 which shows nice game-use with hit marks and a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The last two are natural P72 game bats showing only black bat rack streaks and no use.
