His daring skill and unfaltering strategy cut “Goliaths” to far below Barney’s 5’4” on the court, Barney was ten feet tall,” 10-3/4” x 9”, wood and brass plaque, 2 lbs. “Athletic Hall of Fame - The City College of The City University of New York - Presented to Barney Sedran”, January 1967, 13” x 15”, wooden and brass plaque, 9 lbs. “American Basketball League, Inc. to Barney Sedran in deep appreciation of his outstanding contributions to Professional Basketball - 1910-1945”, February 3, 1946, 10-1/2” x 13-1/2”, wooden plaque, 2 lbs. “The Austin Meehan Award presented to Barney Sedran in recognition of his being the outstanding player of his era and member of the Basketball Hall of Fame”, pres. by the Philadelphia Basketball Old Timers Assn., April 28, 1962, 14” x 16”, wooden and brass plaque, 5 lbs. 16-1/2” x 12-1/2” scrapbook, contains numerous articles pertaining to Sedran’s basketball career ranging from the 1910s to the 1950s. Also contains several team photos, correspondences and a packet from the Basketball Hall of Fame detailing members procedures of the Hall.
