Coca-Cola wasn't just available at the local soda fountain -- you could get it on a boat as well! What could be more refreshing than an ice cold glass of Coca-Cola on that fishing trip in the hot sun? This Coca-Cola syrup dispenser, manufactured by the Dole Valve Company in the 1950s, has brass fittings to prevent corrosion by salt water. The red enameled exterior shows some minor chipping, the white embossed "Drink Coca-Cola" lettering on the sides is bold and clear. The face plate identifies this as dispenser number C-10018. The metal interior compartment features a swivel syrup holder and refrigerant coil on the bottom, slightly soiled but can be easily cleaned. A rare example of how fountain dispensers have been adapted for use outside the corner drug store, this model measures 11-1/2" x 14-1/2" x 21."
