This is an extremely rare 1930s original Sherwin Williams Paints ("SWP") large blown-out die-cut sign, picturing a can of red paint spilling out and "covering the earth." These were frequently hung above the neon signs outside of hardware or paint stores, the bolt holes appear never to have been used. This 19" wide x 35-1/2" tall sign is in NR-MT condition and has a few very minor scratches that can barely be seen with the naked eye -- we have never seen one this pristine! Our consignor assures us that this rare vintage sign is all original.
