A "Patent" mark is stamped on the barrel top of this gun, but the number is illegible due to surface aging. Only the "18" out of the four digit year stamped on the barrel top is legible. On the barrel top "E. Remington & Sons" and "New York USA" can clearly be read, other markings cannot. The gun appears to be in mechanical working order. The surface of the gun shows signs of age but is in overall good condition.
