The 34th President of the United States, Dwight Eisenhower first gained notoriety as the commanding General of the Allied Forces in World War II. He won the 1952 Presidential election by a landslide with the popular "I Like Ike" campaign slogan. This letter sent by Ike just two weeks prior to Election Day, 1952. It is addressed "Dear Former Service Woman" and asks for help in his "crusade for a better America." It is an obvious solicitation for a vote on Election Day from the Former General to a female solider who served under him. Signed at the close "Dwight D. Eisenhower" in mint ink rating a 10. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
