Free franked "A. Lincoln" envelope, 5" x 3", addressed entirely in Lincoln's hand to "Hon. Sec. Of War Special." Lincoln's signature and entire penning is dark and bold, artfully custom framed and matted with color portrait overall size 13.5" x 18", tear no doubt from the Secretary of War hurriedly opening envelope running through top third of envelope with professionally archival restoration. The lot comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
