The People magazine is from December 1984 and is signed by Geraldine Ferraro in blue Sharpie. The lot also includes eight signed Time magazines, including the April 1970 issue with Jesse Jackson, inscribed "1/6/00 Peace", October 1999 with Bill Bradley, May 1999 with Madeline Albright, May 1992 with Ross Perot, April 1994 with George Stephanopoulos, November 1993 with Billy Graham, and August 1998 with John Glenn. Bill Gates also forfeited $3,450.76 in the one minute he spent not working, signing his January 1997 Newsweek. All Newsweeks are signed in blue or black Sharpie marker. The entire lot averages near mint. The signatures fall between near 8s and strong 9s, and come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
