Nolan Ryan began his professional career in 1966 with the New York Mets. He pitched only five innings that season, but such short seasons were certainly not the norm for Ryan. He earned the title as one of the best pitchers of all time, backed with his "Ryan Express" fastball. Offered here are two pieces. The first is a vintage photo (number 320 out of 500), blown up to 19" x 15", showing Ryan with his right leg in the air just after he released a fastball. This black and white photo is matted in white with a black frame, and is signed in blue Sharpie by Ryan. It also includes the original 3-1/2" x 5" photo, which is attached to the back of the frame. The second piece is a 14" x 17-1/2" original, limited edition lithograph, four color, hand signed and numbered by the artist. It is a watercolor of Ryan in his Rangers uniform, mid-windup. This print from 1990 by Lodi Printing Co. is number 774 out of 990, and is signed by Ryan on the bottom white border in pencil. Attached to the back is a photo of Ryan signing the lithograph. The two autographs average strong 8s, and come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
