Stanley Kramer directed this epic 1957 United Artists film set in Spain during the Napoleonic Wars. Spanish guerrillas led by Frank Sinatra ("The Passion") must move a cannon across French-occupied Spain in order to help the British. Sparks fly as the British officer (Cary Grant, "The Pride"), accompanying the guerrillas, falls in love with their leader's girl (Sophia Loren). Sinatra had taken the role to be close to his estranged wife, Ava Gardner, who was in Spain at the time for the filming of "The Sun Also Rises." This three-sheet linen-backed movie poster measures 41" x 81" and has a great image of the cannon as well as pencil portraits on the bottom of the three stars. In fine condition with minor restoration.
