Also known as "A Man Called Sullivan" in the UK, this 1945 United Artists film directed by Frank Tuttle was about the life of the great boxer John L. Sullivan, the world heavyweight champion from 1882-1892 and the last of the bare-knuckle champions. The story, however, is overshadowed by the movie's three mega-stars Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope, who also appear as caricatures on this 27" x 41" one-sheet poster. In fine condition with minor restoration, and linen backed.
