Over the past two decades, John Madden has awarded the players he feels are the toughest and smartest with a nomination to his All-Madden Team. A recipient of this award in 1993 was Lawrence Taylor for his dominating play at the linebacker position in his last season. Lawrence Taylor also has the distinction of being voted to Madden's more selective All-Millennium Team. This award is bronze in color and is a bust of a football player mounted on a wood base. The award is incredibly heavy for its size and has two plates on the base. One plate reads, "The Madden By Ed White - 027" and the other reads, "10th Anniversary 1993 All-Madden Team Lawrence Taylor New York Giants." The wooden base is 6-5/8" in diameter and the overall height of the trophy is 8."
