The #1 overall pick in the famous 1983 NFL Draft, John Elway went on to have one of the finest careers in football history. A nine time Pro-Bowler and two-time Superbowl champion, Elway set the NFL career record for most wins as a starting quarterback with 140. This jersey is from the 1997 season in which he led the Broncos to a Superbowl victory. In the collar is a white label reading "97-48," which denotes year and size, respectively. On the left front tail is the "Nike Pro Line" manufacturer's tag. At the base of the v-neck is the "NFL" logo and the team name "Broncos" in white embroidered stitch. The player number "7" is on the front, back, and sleeves in white on orange tackle twill. Also on the back is a blue nameplate reading "Elway" in white tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
