"Seattle Slew", along with jockey Jean Cruguet won the 1977 Triple Crown by finishing first in the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and the Belmont Stakes. Offered here is an 11" x 8-1/4" photo of Cruguet standing on Slew's saddle after winning the Triple Crown. Also included are three EX betting stubs from each race, all two dollars on a win for Seattle Slew, as well as a 3-1/2" x 2" white card inscribed "Best Wishes from all of us," signed by Karen Taylor and Sally Hill, the women who, with their husbands, first purchased Seattle Slew for $17,500, as well as trainer Bill Turner and jockey Jean Cruguet. There is also a ribbon with a medallion stating "History's First Undefeated Triple Crown Winner." This piece is matted in black on yellow, with a gold frame, and measures an overall 24" x 21." The signatures rate 8s and come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
