Muhammad Ali proved to the world he was "The Greatest" by capturing the heavyweight championship on three separate occasions and defending his title 19 times. Very few athletes have ever received as much spotlight as Ali. Offered here are seven magazines from 1964 through 1979. Magazines included are: March 6, 1964 "Life" magazine; April 11, 1966 "Sports Illustrated"; October 23, 1970 "Life"; May and June 1975 "Playboy" magazines; an autographed July 7, 1975 "People"; and an October 1979 "TV Guide." Also included in the lot are six "Exclusive Theatre Telecast" tickets from various Ali telecasts, including 1967 vs. Patterson, 1970 vs. Bonavena, 1974 vs. Foreman, 1975 vs. Bugner, 1975 vs. Frazier (rematch), and 1976 vs. Inoki. The magazines grade EX-NM with some having binding wear, scuffing, and general wear from age. The telecast tickets rate NM with some having very slightly worn edges. The autograph rates an 8 and comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
