Muhammad Ali and George Foreman met under a dim African moon in the politically explosive city of Kinshasa, Zaire on October 30, 1974. The fight saw Ali stand flat-footed against the ropes as Foreman punched himself into exhaustion and defeat. This large 37" x 36-1/2" original painting is of Foreman, just after landing a hard right to Ali's crouched head. The piece was painted in an array of vibrant oil paints. The artist marked his name "Heston" in the bottom right corner in black paint. It is in NM condition, and is ready to be displayed.
