Entitled "Interior of the Fives Court", the lithograph offered here features an image of legendary boxers Jack Randall and Ed Turner during an 1821 sparring match. While the barn-like venue may be packed, many spectators, including the referees, seem to be more interested in what's happening outside the ring. There is also a black fighter depicted who seems to be drawing a great deal of attention. At the bottom center the litho reads, "To the noblemen, gentlemen, patrons & lovers of the art of self defence, this print is inscribed and obliged by their noble & humble servant." The litho was published in London and appears to be in EX-MT condition with great color and clarity. It is matted inside a 28-1/2" x 33" frame. A Randall-Turner boxing card was part of the famed T220 set.
