Famed sports writer Jack Lang covered baseball for seven decades, beginning with the Long Island Press in 1946. He covered the Brooklyn Dodgers until the team moved to Los Angeles, then he was assigned to the Yankees. Lang also covered the Mets from when the team started in 1962. This lot includes eighteen items from Jack Lang, including two black leather cases and four leather address books with the Yankee emblem in gold, one of which is inscribed "Jack Lang." There are two calculators from the 1989 World Series, a 1991 World Series clock radio, a "Christmas 1970" Yankees clock, a Mets calculator/clock, a small wooden Yankees clock, and a "1992 Dodger Stadium 30 Year Anniversary" clock. The lot also includes a wooden and steel notepad and pen holder engraved with "New York Yankees 1977 World Champions," a 1996 Phillies All-Star Team mini-frame, a Toronto Blue Jays "Canada's First World Series" keychain, an unused 1994 World Series official Rawlings baseball, and two plastic Los Angeles Dodgers press pouches, from the 1973 and 1974 World Series'. These items range from very good to near mint condition.
