"The Giants win the pennant! The Giants win the pennant!" The Giants' Bobby Thomson hit the most famous home run in history off of Ralph Branca. This "shot heard round the world" photo is signed by both Thomson and Branca, and is inscribed, "Oct. 3. 1951." The photo is framed and matted, with an overall size of 20" x 17." The lot also includes an orange New York Giants pin with a brown ribbon and a bronze glove, bat, and ball, and a Polo Grounds post card. Programs include 1942, 1949, 1951 (2), 1952 (2), 1953 (2), and 1962. The items are all in EX-NM condition, with some having natural wear and scuffing, and some damaged bindings. The signatures on the photo are both in black sharpie, and rate near 9s. The lot comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
