Great grouping of 69 vintage sports books from 1900-1963 from the collection of Jack Lang, a world famous sportswriter who, as executive secretary of the Baseball Writers' Association (BBWAA), has the pleasure of making the call to a player when that player has been named MVP, Cy Young winner or elected to the HOF. This collection from Jack Lang contains 19 items that Mr. Lang collected over the years from Old-Timers events. These books are in overall VG condition, show wear, and a few have the covers missing. Several have been leather bound. Highlights include The "Reach Official Baseball Guide," including the years 1905-1914; the "Spalding Official Base Ball Guide," including the years 1900-1902; and "The Sporting News Official Baseball Record and Guide Book" from the 1940s-1960s.
