Hall of Famer George Allen owns the distinction of never having a losing season in his 12 years as a head coach in professional football. This salesman's sample ring is identical to one he received after leading the 1972 Washington Redskins to the NFC Championship. It reads "1972 NFC Champions" on the top surrounding 14 CZ diamonds and synthetic ruby with a raised Redskins logo in the center. On the left shank is the name "Allen" above the scores of both the divisional playoff game vs. the Packers, and championship game vs. the Cowboys. Also present on the left shank is the "Super Bowl VII" logo. On the right shank is the team name "Washington Redskins" above a raised football helmet with the team's logo and the word "Togetherness." The ring is size 11, is in excellent to near-mint condition, and is stamped "10K" and "B3936" on the inside band.
