On July 5, 1998, "The Rocket" stepped up to the mound and threw his 3,000th career strikeout. This lot includes a 1998 Toronto Blue Jays official program with Clemens on the cover, a full ticket from the landmark event in the SkyDome, and a signed 8" x 10" photo of Clemens mid-windup in his Boston uniform. Also included in the lot are two more full tickets from the games that Clemens struck out 20 batters -- the September 18, 1996 game at Tiger Stadium and the April 29, 1986 game in Boston. There are also two small gold plaques that state "3,000th Strike Out" and "Strikes Out 20 Twice." The items are neatly framed and matted in grey and red, with a black frame and an overall size of 24" x 24", and are ready for display. The tickets, photo and program are all in NM-MT condition. The signature rates a 9 and comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
