On September 11, 1985, the 44-year-old Pete Rose stepped up to the plate and connected for his 4,192nd hit, breaking Ty Cobbs' career record. This lot includes a 1985 Reds scorebook with Rose on the cover, a full ticket from the record-breaking day at Riverfront Stadium, and a signed 8" x 10" photo of Rose beginning his swing that would lead to the hit. There is also a small gold plaque that states the date of Rose's accomplishment. The items are neatly framed and matted in white and red, with a red frame and an overall size of 21" x 17", and ready for display. The ticket, photo, and program are all in NM-MT condition. The signature rates a near 9 and comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
