Navin Field opened in April 1912 and played host to the Detroit Tigers up until 2000. In its lifetime it had seen nine World Series, three All-Star Games, Ty Cobb's 12 AL batting titles, and Denny McLain's 31-win season. This bat was produced by the Cooperstown Bat Co., to commemorate the now legendary field, and has been signed by nearly 50 players who once called it home. Signers include Chas Gehringer, Sparky Anderson, Earl Weaver, Alan Trammel, Pat Dobson, Richie Hebner, Luke Walker, Ralph Houk, Milt Cuyler, George Kell, Tom Tresh, John Sain, Milt May, Lou Whitaker, Cecil Fielder, Gates Brown, Don Demeter, and many more. The autographs are done in blue Sharpie, rating 8-10, and come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
