This "Celebration" set by the Perez-Steele Galleries, in association with the National Baseball Hall of Fame includes 44 high quality postcards with prints of original portraits of Hall of Famers painted by famed artist Dick Perez. Thirty-four of the postcards are autographed by the player, including signatures of Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, Duke Snider, Yogi Berra, Mickey Mantle, Carl Yastrzemski, Ted Williams, Eddie Mathews, Harmon Killebrew, Pee Wee Reese and Stan Musial. Also included is a 6-1/2" x 8" eleven page booklet which displays the images of the postcards, and the painting from the inside of the collectors box. Both the postcards and the booklet are set in yellow felt within the green vinyl collectors box which measures 13-1/2" x 10-1/2". This set is from a limited edition, and is numbered 8958 out of 10,000. The signatures grade from 8s to near 10s. The lot comes with a COA from Perez-Steele and the National Baseball Hall of Fame, as well as a letter from PSA/DNA.
