On September 22, 1986, Fernando Valenzuela defeated the Houston Astros 9-2 and became the first National League pitcher to win 20 games that year. This baseball was used in that game and retrieved by the Dodgers former equipment manager after it was over. All pertinent game information has been professionally hand lettered onto the ONL Feeney ball, which shows a fair amount of use. It comes with a letter on Dodgers stationery from the team's former equipment manager.
