The members of the 3,000-Strikeout Club are so few in number that they can be counted on two hands. This ball saw action in the April 29, 1981 game in which Hall of Fame hurler Steve Carlton reached the lofty goal by striking out Tim Wallach. The lightly toned ONL Feeney ball has been signed by him on the sweet spot in flawless perfect 10 blue ink. The documentation is the very ball itself and comes in the form of several period notations, detailing pertinent game information, and the signatures of several others in attendance including Del Unser (Carlton's team mate who hit the game winner), Bob Boone (Carlton's catcher), and the announcers McCarver, Wheeler, and Friel. The autographs come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
