Babe Ruth was the prototype of the modern day superstar, and the mold from which he came was most certainly broken after production. He could go nowhere without attracting a throng of fans and would gladly and graciously take the time to sign autographs for all who requested. There is no shortage of Babe Ruth signed baseballs in our hobby, but the number that set themselves apart in a state of preservation such as this one are very few and far between. The fountain pen signature that graces the sweet spot of this baseball is perfect in every respect. The thick pen strokes are consistent throughout, never skipping or smudging. The Official American League baseball (William Harridge, Commissioner) displays bold stampings and shows an even cream color. It is a blazer. Accompanied by a letter from PSA/DNA.
