After being dealt to Montreal in 1993 by the L.A. Dodgers, Pedro Martinez quickly stepped out of the shadows and established himself as one the great right-handed pitchers of all time. While playing in Montreal he posted some of his best numbers on the mound and stepped to the plate more than any other time in his career. This bat shows evidence of outstanding use with ball marks visible on the barrel and a moderate coat of pine tar applied to the handle. The knob has been colored in with silver paint pen and "45 P.M." is written in the cupped end.
